Now, you all know I’m not a great fan of woofies, for the simple reason that they like to chase me, but I could be prepared to make an exception for this little guy.
Meet my new neighbour Dudley, who just moved into his new forever home in my apartment block today. He’s a Spoodle and even I have to admit, he’s pretty cute.
He’s grown up with pussycats, so hopefully when we meet in a couple of weeks time (after he’s had his last round of shots) he’ll play nice and accept that I am the dominant species.
My only concern is that the balance of power in our block is shifting towards the woofies with this latest addition. At last count there were 9 kittehs and 8 woofies. We’re gonna need some more additions to the Pussy Posse to keep thing firmly in control over here!

Dudley looks just like our Shadow. It’s an awesome breed for us cat lovers, spoodles are the living teddybear! Shadow totally adores all our cats

Mom wants to correct herself – she has seen Cockerpoos, but her brain was not in gear when she said she had not seen a Spoodle. They are the same. I like the name Spoodle better – no “poo” in it.

That sure is a cute woofie. Mom has seen other poodle crosses, but not a spoodle. She likes the size.
Mom remembers many years ago when they had a cat and he stayed for a while with her parents who had a cocker spaniel. When the cocker spaniel chased him, he learned all he had to do was jump onto a dining room chair and the woofie went right past looking for him.
