If I had a thumb, it’d be green

Thursday, December 31, 2009

Today I hope to follow in the footsteps of some of the great cat gardeners, notably Jonesie from Cory Cat Blog and her apprentice Alfie Marshall, who have inspired me to have my own Thursday in the Garden series.

I got some cat grass seeds and Cosmo some catnip seeds for Christmas, so today I sowed those seeds. My cat grass seeds are in the pot on the left. Whose seeds do you think will grow the fastest?

I’m new to this gardening thing, so let me know if you have any tips for helping my seeds to grow!

We think the grass will pop up first. Not that we know from experience. Our mum is far too rubbish with plants for us to know from experience…
Happy New Year to you, your Mummy, Cosmo and Noggin!:)

Hey there Misha! I’m betting your cat grass seeds will sprout first! Just a feeling in my paws that tells me so. Just make sure you don’t nom on it as it grows…you have to be patient!
