It was Guy Fawkes last night, but the fireworks don’t scare me and Cosmo, although Cosmo gets a bit annoyed if they’re too loud and she can’t work out where the noise is coming from.
Is it the neighbours upstairs?
Or is it coming from over there?
Or perhaps it’s in the other direction?
Then she just gives up and gets grumpy with all the noisy people for keeping her awake.

Cosmo, you sure are one beautiful girlie, whether you’re startled by fireworks or not! They sure did make you grumpy, didn’t they? Oh well, it’s all over by now and you can nap in peace.
Fireworks don’t scare us. We try to see them from the window.
I’m glad we don’t have Guy Fawkes day here in the U.S. I hate loud noises and don’t handle them with anything like the poise Cosmo displays. I bet your neighbors could sense the bad vibes she was sending them.

we only have fireworks on New Years Eve in Germany and my Charly hides in a cupbard then, where I prepare a snuggly place for him.
Fireworks don’t scare us but they do scare our woofies. Cosmo really does look grumpy!!

I am also not fazed by the fireworks on the 4th of July. That is good you don’t get scared – some cats and dogs totally freak out.
