I was walking on air today after my star turn on the TV last night…
…so when I got the news late this morning that I had come 3rd in New Zealand’s Next Top Cat Model, I wasn’t even upset!
Also, to help me lick any wounds that I may have had from not winning were all my lovely furiends who sent me such lovely messages of support.
I’ve been so touched by how you all have gotten behind my quest to be a top cat model and raise money to get underpriviledged kittehs off the streets (with your help I raised $1,071 for the SPCA and Lonely Miaow). It’s really reaffirmed to me how strong the social media anipal community is and how lucky I am to be a part of it. I wanted to thank you all individually, but there’s been so many that have donated, blogged, Twittered, campaigned and voted that I’d be all day typing the list and I’d hate to leave anyone out. You know who you are…

Congratulations to the Ginja Ninja, Mr Tinkles, who won the contest! Overall the campaign raised almost $10,000 for charity, so a big thank you to Larry Cat for organising such a great event!

Misha you will always be number one in our eyes. We were mad because we tried to donate to bump you up but it had already closed. But we did remember an email we hadn’t voted from – I guess it just wasn’t enough.
